I’ve Given In
At least it’s to something good. My mobile phone plan has been eligible for an upgrade for a couple months and I decided on a Samsung Propel. It had good reviews, may have been more stable sliding rather than flipping. The camera controls would not be activated at random as has been the case. We went in tonight to get it. Tim joined me in case there was an Apple discount. When we got there it turned out the $50 rebate was only good with a certain data plan so we’d get the rebate if I signed up for unlimited messaging or internet, otherwise we’d pay more, yadda yadda. Tim said it would be about the same if I got my own iPhone. I wasn’t going to get one because I’d just gotten a pretty turquoise iPod and I was happy with my phone. We walked around to talk… and I gave in. I’ve got an iPhone. Don’t worry, I know plenty well how great it is, an amazing piece of technology. When I first tried it I didn’t like the “keypad” but as with most things, you can acclimate. Anyway, it’s pretty spiffy, but I won’t be signing my emails, “Sent from my iPhone.”
