Dreams

I had my first baby dream last night. (Tim was surprised I hadn’t had them before.) There were two parts. I think a lot of times mom’s-to-be get ideas from dreams about things but instead of “finding out” if the baby is a boy or girl or hearing a name said, it just confirmed what we know, nothing yet. The baby however was cute, and like Tim said, that’s all that matters. ;)

We have a 2nd ultrasound next month and I REALLY want to find out then!

Strange things happened in the dreams, but nothing bad. In the 1st I dreamt I’d given birth but couldn’t remember it, I just knew I had. Tim suggested I skipped over that part because I don’t yet know what it’s like, sounds reasonable.
Then I woke up wondering where we would put all the clothes and supplies. A piece of furniture we must buy sometime. This thought may have come from dreaming that I couldn’t find enough clothes from what I had or the right attire for him/her, so I woke up wondering, as I said, where it would all go. The grandmothers (this child has 3!) have bought many things already, some they haven’t given me yet, but are still waiting to know the sex in order to buy gender-specific goodies.

I think besides clothes, the two things I need the most are the chest of drawers/storage and a seat to put the baby in so s/he isn’t always lying down when not held and can look around.
