Happy Feet and Thanksgiving

We gpt home this evening after spending the past week in New England, mostly in New Hampshire, but also in Massachusetts with Tim’s sister.

The ride up was really rough, I think because we got started late so it was dark and I had a difficult time entertaining Sara Ellen. We didn’t get to NH until 1am! Tuesday afternoon, and Wednesday we spent in Massachusetts with Corri Altman. Wednesday evening we spent with more Altman relatives, the Collis/Zellers and a half-uncle of Tim’s dad and aunts. Thursday we had a nice day and meal.

Friday evening we *all* went to see “Happy Feet”, the newest movie about penguins. Instead of singing like the rest of his kinfolk, Mumbles “Happy Feet” taps. It’s a lot of fun. Sara Ellen was awake the whole time but barely peeped. She entertained herself listening and bopping to the music, looking at other people, and walking in front of us. It was nice to do something all together. I recommend the movie. I might need the soundtrack.

The drive back today was much better. We left NH before 7am, stopped several times for breaks, food and exercise. We got back at 5 something.
