Monster House

For our Halloween celebration, we closed all the curtains and turned off most lights. Candles light the living room. Emily and I made an autumny meal and we settled in for the new Sony animated flick, Monster House.

I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot but it actually really intriguing. I didn’t want to “break the illusion” by pausing it whenever I, or anyone else, left the room. The animation was good, expressive but not too real. It wasn’t too obvious and not at all boring. My attention was drawn and I wanted to know what would happen. It was funny and fun too.

I recommend it. Adding pumpkin pie and apple cider would do you well also.
