Another friend of mine has LJ and I learned that very soon WordPress (which I use) would be able to have one of those id thingies. Yay. I can't really take credit for the design, there were some to pick from, and this was indeed the most attractive.

I have a really pathetic xanga account for the same reason, just to be able to comment on other peoples journals basically, because I really only updated it like, ... 3 or 4 times.
I have used LiveJournal for the longest time simply because you are able to completely alter how it looks and manipulate the settings and so on for a very low fee, and most of my friends gave up on xanga, deadjournal, blog spot, blogger, and so on and came over to Livejournal, so we can all interact very easily.
I think the friends’ list on livejournal is one of my most favoritest features ever! In the history of the world even! lol Because only the people I want to read it, can. That is important. I don't want someone who just googled my name to find my journal and be able to read everything, some things I only want my "friends" to know about, or be able to comment on.
Plus there are so many things that are formatted for LJ that it just makes it easier. I had a couple of my own WebPages and pretty much killed them all because it was such a hassle to keep up with every little thing. But I am still working on a portfolio based web page, which hopefully will be up and running shortly...within the next century. LOL

Your journal is very pretty though, and well designed, so you and Tim both should be proud :D
