August Events
Our road trip has turned into two trips separated by a day 8O.
The following are our arrangements going west. Between Washington and Chicago we got Superliner Roomettes so we can sleep more comfortably on the long trip. During the day it has two seats and at night two single beds are brought down. It includes meals and other good stuff. We just have to share a WC 
(it is a little room with all the water-using equipment after all) with other sleepers.
Tuesday Aug 8
Depart Washington Union Station 3:55pm on the Chicago Limited
Wednesday Aug 9
Arrive Chicago Union Station 8:30am
staying with Rebekah’s family for one night
Thursday Aug 10
Depart Chicago Union Station for Milwaukee at 3:15pm Hiawatha Service
Arrive Milwaukee Amtrak Station 4:44pm - pick up rental car
Friday Aug 11
spend time in Milwaukee
Saturday Aug 12
Collis/Zeller Wedding
Sunday Aug 13
Return rental car and depart Amtrak Milwaukee Station at 1:00pm
Arrive Chicago Union Station 2:29pm
Depart Chicago Union Station 5:35pm
Monday August 14
Arrive Washington Union Station 11:59am
Then on Tuesday or Wednesday we’ll drive down to Lynchburg so I can be available to Sara. She weds Nathan on Saturday and we’ll be home Sunday, maybe even that night if we’re desperate to be home.
