Emily

Happy 20th Birthday Emily!

After taking Tim to BWI for his flight to Seattle (Opera event), the Helmses minus Dad went to Wheaton. There is a neat park there. There is a miniature train for riding, carosel, playground/ party area. We walked through here to Pine Lake where we had a picnic then through the enclosed Brookside Gardens. The gardens are beautiful. There was a labyrinth, Japanese Garden, Butterfly Garden, and walking paths past other greenery. Emily and I both made use of her camera. It was really warm/ pretty hot and on the way back Michael and I discovered a wound hose with a hole spurting water onto a path. It was wonderful and cold and very refreshing. Most of us ended up pink and flushed, BUT not burnt, YAY! :D

We just finished watching “The Family Stone” which was great. We also go “Memoirs of a Geisha” which I’ve seen before and loved. I think Emily picked out “Bride and Prejudice” which is a fun Bollywood version of the classic.
