Space Bubble

Do you have personal issues, pet peeves or something that bugs you but doesn’t bother your child? If it isn’t bothering them and it isn’t unsafe should you let it go?

While Sara Ellen takes her swim lesson, Eliza and I wait around watching her swim or walking around among all the other parents, siblings, and students waiting for their class to start. In the last month or so one boy, eight maybe, has noticed how adorable Eliza is and likes to get close to pat or coo. He’s very sweet but very close. I don’t like it. I am certainly an affectionate person but have always kept my distance from most people I don’t know. Eliza seems perfectly happy with him in her face and even kissing her forehead but I’m not so cool with it. I’m trying to figure out where to draw that line.
